Navigating Today’s Intergenerational Workforce : The Gen Y Perceptions 360 Survey with Dr. Vu Pham

Anecdotal perceptions about Generation Y or the “Millenials”, born between 1978 and 1995:
“Gen Y lacks willingness to pay their dues.”
“Today’s young employees expect frequent rewards.”
“They’re digital natives and can wield technology best.”
“Young professionals in this millennia work better in teams.”

The media, generational experts and company employees make numerous statements like these about Generation Y. How true are they? How widespread are these perceptions? The Gen Y Perceptions Study placed these, and other statements, to the test. It surveyed more than 700 respondents from different generations to measure how Gen Y views itself in comparison to how other generations view Gen Y. You could call this a mass-scale 360 about Gen Y. Join us to see the results of the survey and its implications for the U.S. workforce, including best practices.
